Today, March 16, 2020, a State of Emergency has been declared for Davie County to allow access to federal and state resources in preparedness efforts for COVID-19 prevention. With my consent as Mayor, the Town of Bermuda Run is included in this Declaration.
These are demanding times. We hope the joint measures we are taking now will mitigate the anticipated spike in infected individuals showing symptoms, and that we are well-prepared to help those in need.
This is an evolving situation, and therefore our actions will need to be flexible and responsive. We will continue to communicate as things change. In the meantime, the following site is a good source for real-time information:
